Catherine Beckingham

4yo Kangaroos Teacher

Cath joined the team at St Peter's in 2020 and is the 4yo Teacher for the Kangaroos Group.  

Holding a Bachelor of Education Early Childhood, Cath values collaboration and shared thinking with children, building on their ideas to extend their learning.  She enjoys teaching in both indoor and outdoor spaces, creating experiences for children to learn in a variety of environments. 

In her leisure time, Cath has a sense of adventure, enjoying camping and water sports.

Fiona Tudor

3yo Bilbies Teacher / Nominated Supervisor

Fiona joined the St Peter's Kinder team in 2022 

Following her dream, Fiona began her teaching career 12 years ago and it was one of the best decisions in her life. Holding a Bachelor of Education (Birth to 5 years), with distinction, Fiona also achieved the Executive Dean’s Award during  her studies.  

Fiona has taught play based learning in both Australia, and Hong Kong, gaining valuable experience in both small community settings, and large international kindergartens.

 

Fiona enjoys travel, and escapades with her dog Lucy who is also part of the kinder program at St Peter's.

Donna Gillespie

3yo Bilibies Diploma Educator

Donna joined the team at St Peter's in 1998 for many years as the 3yo Teacher.  Now Donna is a Diploma Educator with the 3yo Bilbies group.

Donna enjoys being actively involved in the SPK play based program and with a passion for creating play spaces that ignite a child’s imagination she is an active “hands on” educator. 

Donna enjoys sharing her creative side and brings an interest in music and a love of cooking with the children, 

Donna has 3 adult sons, and 3 beautiful grandchildren, and is actively involved in her local community

Celia Lee

4yo Kangaroos Diploma Educator

Celia joined the St Peter's Kinder team in 1996 and is a Diploma Educator.

Growing up in Singapore, Celia has experience in a multinational society and has a deep understanding of the value of being exposed to different languages. Celia is passionate about introducing young children to languages other than English.

For many years, Celia has included a Chinese program as part of the education program at St Peters and it's very rewarding to see how the children’s curiosity is sparked when they are introduced to a new language.

Lucy Kennon

4yo Kangaroos Diploma Educator

Lucy joined St Peter’s Kinder as an Educator in 2026, and feels especially excited to be part of the Beach Kinder program.

Holding a Master of Teaching (Early Years) with dual teaching qualifications in Early Childhood and Primary Education, Lucy is passionate about creating learning environments where children feel confident, capable and deeply connected, both to their learning and to a community that nurtures and supports it. She loves following children’s interests, building strong relationships, and encouraging their growing independence and agency.

Lucy believes there is nothing quite like the magic of sand, sea air and the raw, open-ended nature of the beach to spark curiosity, resilience and joyful learning. She is thrilled to be part of the team in supporting children as they explore, discover and make meaning of the world around them. Outside of kinderg, Lucy lives in Bayside with her husband and their two children, aged 4 (3 y o Kinder) and 6 (Prep) in 2026 and dog Rufus!

Brid McLaughlin

3yo Bilbies Diploma Educator

Brid joined the St Peter's Kinder team in 2023 and is a Diploma Educator.

Originally from Ireland, Brid moved to Australia in 2017 and thoroughly enjoys being in the 3yo Bilby group. Brid finds being part of the St Peters community incredibly rewarding, 
working with wonderful families and contributing to a nurturing and supportive environment for the children.

Currently, Brid is studying a Bachelor of Early Childhood
Teaching, which enriches her practice and deepens her commitment to providing quality early learning experiences that will inspire creativity and imagination.

Lucy joins the 3yo Bilbies group on a Monday. She loves walks and cuddles.

St Peter's Kindergarten is a child safe, inclusive environment where everyone has the right to feel respected, valued, safe and protected from harm, neglect and abuse.

 St Peter's Kindergarten acknowledges the Bunurong and Boon Wurrung People of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the land, sea and waters on which we work, play and live. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
