It is a requirement by law that there is at least one ‘qualified’ staff member present during each session. This means that they have completed a ‘recognised’ tertiary qualification in the field of Early Childhood. The Department of Human Services also states that there must be a ratio of no less than 1 adult: 15 children during session times. (This does not include parent helpers).

Celia has been an assistant at the kindergarten for over 10 years and complements the various class programs with a Chinese program.
